Occasionally I lost it and went a bit my own way. While the area is generally not very mountainous, there were many hills I had to climb, just to ride down again right after. This combined with the hot weather still made it a fairly exhausting day. I rode through sparsely populated land, with the only city being Hartberg, which was my destination for the day. In the evening I could even stroll around a bit in the old town, since the camping site was very close.
