In my initial plan I didn‘t intend to go to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. I am glad I changed my mind. The ride from Bled was the shortest so far, but along the way I met some fellow cyclists in a Café, so I rode to Ljubljana with them. Once in the city I found a hostel right in the center. I met up with the cyclists again and we went on a great 2 hour city tour through the old town and then had some drinks. The city is quite small but really charming, there is a castle overlooking the old town and there are many restaurants along the river bank.
